Terms of Use for Tait Online Support Resources

These Terms of Use must be read prior to use of the Tait Support Site http://support.taitradio.com/home.

By accessing and using the Tait Online Support Resources, you agree to be bound by these terms.  Tait reserves the right, in its discretion, to change or modify all or any part of these Terms of Use at any time.  You agree to review the Terms periodically to be aware of such changes and your continued access or use of the Online Support Resources after any changes are posted will be considered acceptance of those changes.

These Terms of Use are applicable to the Tait Online Support Resources and are in addition to the terms and conditions of our Website Use Agreement found here http://www.taitradio.com/user-agreement

  1. Definitions
    Any reference herein to “Tait”, “we”, “us”, “our” and “ours” shall be a reference to Tait limited and its affiliate companies as applicable.Any reference to “you” or “user” means the person with a username and login password who has authority to access the Online Support Resources.
  2. Access
    1. The Tait Support Site is accessible to users with a Standard, Enhanced or Comprehensive Support Agreement or users who have otherwise made prior arrangements with Tait. Online technical support resources may include:
      • User, Installation, Accessories and Specification Documentation
      • Technical Notes
      • Software Release notes
    2. The Tait Support Portal is accessible to Customers with a Standard, Enhanced or Comprehensive Support Agreement. It provides access to case management.
    3. You must maintain the currency of your support agreement in order to maintain access to the Online Support Resources and must cease use upon the expiration of the support agreement.
    4. When you create an online account, you shall provide true, accurate and complete registration information. If Tait, in our sole and absolute discretion, believe that any such information is inaccurate or incomplete, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.
    5. You will be provided with a username and password. You will be personally responsible for all activities related to your username. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for changing your password on a regular basis.  The user organisation must maintain confidentiality of any issued user names and passwords and advise Tait of any known breach.
    6. It is the responsibility of the user organisation to ensure that departing staff have no further access to the Online Support Resources.  Tait is not responsible for any loss or damage occasioned to the user organisation by ex-employees who retain access to the Support Resources.  You may contact Tait to receive updated user names / passwords at any time.
  3. Use of Content
    1. Unless otherwise indicated, all information contained in the Online Support Resources including but not limited to documentation, specifications, products data, support information, text, graphics, logos, button icons, video or audio clips is copyrighted by and proprietary to Tait and may not be copied, reproduced, transmitted, displayed, performed, distributed, sublicensed, altered, stored for subsequent use or otherwise used in whole or in part any manner without Tait's prior written consent.
    2. The exception to this is that the user may make such copies of content as are reasonably necessary to enable the purpose of the Support Agreement and provide support services to the user.
    3. The following restrictions apply:
      1. The content may only be used for informational purposes.
      2. The content may not be further modified in any way, other than as described in (iii), next.
      3. Any copy of content or portion thereof must include the Tait cite line as "copyrighted and published by Tait, no part of this document may be reproduced without written consent"

  4. Disclaimer
    1. You acknowledge that the information in the Online Support Resources is provided "as is". Whilst every effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the Tait Online Support Resources, Tait makes no warranties or representations, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of information.
    2. TAIT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES AS TO THE ACCURACY OF THE ONLINE SUPPORT RESOURCES.  IN NO EVENT SHALL TAIT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, EXPENSES, PROFITS, LOSS OR DAMAGE, DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE INFORMATION DESCRIBED ON THIS WEBSITE.
    3. You are encouraged to contact the Tait Service Desk if you believe there are errors or omissions in the content of the Online Support Resources.
